At Renaissance Licensing, we believe that collaboration is key to success.

OUR STORY

Launched in late 2023, Renaissance Licensing was born from opportunity. The founders met while working together at their prior employer, BENlabs, on some of the biggest celebrity brands in the world, including Charlie Chaplin, Albert Einstein, and Steve McQueen.

When the company decided to exit the business, Liz and Ryan joined forces to open their own agency, and Renaissance was established. Several of their former clients graciously joined them in their new endeavor, and new ones were quickly signed. Today Renaissance’s roster includes over 15 clients including celebrities, musicians, and artists, represented directly and through strategic relationships with our partner agencies.

Partner

Ryan has over 15 years of licensing experience with celebrity and home furnishings brands, including Nautica, DwellStudio, Ernest Hemingway, Marlon Brando, Charlie Chaplin, and many others. His areas of expertise include men’s, women’s, and children's apparel and accessories, home furnishings, and hospitality. He has extensive experience in international markets in addition to deep knowledge of the North American market.

Liz
Van Denburg

Partner

Liz’s licensing career began in 2006 at the Walt Disney Company, followed by time at Beanstalk and a long tenure at Greenlight/BENlabs, where she led the development of the Steve McQueen and Albert Einstein global product programs. Her areas of expertise include health and beauty aides, tech, and men’s apparel, in addition to motorsports and automotive accessories.

Jake
Terrell

Senior Music Specialist

Jake has nearly 20 years' experience clearing and licensing music for use in traditional and digital advertising, custom content, consumer products, streaming services, film and TV. Founder of JT Music Marketing, Jake is also a member of the Guild of Music Supervisors and maintains longstanding, preferred relationships with record labels, music publishers and artist managers, enabling expedited, turnkey music marketing services for his clients.
